Title: AI-Powered Sprint Goals: Restoring Confidence from Hope to Evidence

Session Abstract:

When sprint goals fail 54% of the time, teams lose trust in their commitment process. Across six Scrum teams, chronic planning failures with “scope creep” and “unforeseen complexity” explanations eroded team confidence.

The root cause wasn’t execution – it was refinement built on hope rather than evidence. This interactive talk shares our transformation using AI pattern analysis across 50+ sprints. By analyzing story complexity, historical velocity, and dependency risks, we enabled evidence-based goal setting that restored team confidence and delivery predictability.

Participants will apply the Sprint Goal Compliance Model through live polls, hands-on scoring exercises, and AI demonstrations.

Results: Sprint goal success improved from 46% to 95% over six months, with measurable gains in cross-team coordination and psychological safety.

Target Audience: Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Agile Coaches, Program/Portfolio Managers
